Job summary

Vizient, Inc. in Irving, TX is seeking an experienced analytics professional to lead complex analyses for clients across healthcare purchasing and data insights.

You will manage data sets, pricing analyses, and reporting to identify savings opportunities and deliver actionable recommendations. You will work with cross-functional teams, develop dashboards, and present findings to Client Managers and Executives, leveraging SQL and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills required.
• Working knowledge of SQL required.
• Strong written and verbal communication, project management, and presentation skills preferred.
• Experience working with pharmacy, distribution, or healthcare data preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet rigorous deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytics projects by creating data sets, coordinating ad hoc analyses, and resolving data anomalies.
• Analyze pharmacy purchase order line-item data to evaluate product utilization, pricing, and cost using data mining, benchmarking, contract application, and cross-referencing techniques.
• Communicate savings opportunities and cost reduction initiatives to Client Managers and Client Executives through reports, presentations, meetings, and individual consultations.
• Consult with Client Managers and Client Executives to gather business requirements and determine appropriate analytical solutions.
• Identify trends, monitor performance metrics, and provide insights based on established standards.
• Manage month-end close reporting for key Provista accounts.
• Design and develop charts, graphs, tables, dashboards, and reports that support findings and recommendations.
• Perform complex financial analyses involving pricing, rebates, and administrative fees to identify client savings opportunities.
• Interpret data and reports to support business decisions and recommend process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support analytical initiatives and adapt to evolving business priorities.
