Job summary

Pink Tile Education is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a school in the Croydon area. You will support pupils with SEND, Autism and ADHD, helping them access learning and build confidence.

The role involves 1:1 and small group support, managing challenging behaviour, and collaborating with teachers and SENCOs to create a calm, inclusive learning environment. Immediate start, full-time, term-time only.

Salary £100–£120 per day, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm.

Qualifications

• Experience in SEND, SEMH, care, youth work or support setting is desirable, but not essential.
• Patient, caring and resilient mindset for working with children and young people.
• Confident in supporting challenging behaviour and diverse needs.
• Interest in SEND, Autism and ADHD and willingness to develop skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated support to pupils with SEND to enable access to learning.
• Deliver 1:1 support and small-group interventions.
• Support pupils with challenging behaviour and promote positive emotional regulation.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs and other staff to create a calm, inclusive learning environment.
