Job summary

Moore Teachers Ltd is partnering with an outstanding specialist school in Hertfordshire to recruit an SEN Teaching Assistant. The role supports pupils aged 2–19 with severe and complex learning difficulties in a SEND setting, under the guidance of the Class Teacher.

You will work with a team to help pupils develop learning across various areas, and swimming with pupils is part of the role. Relevant experience and/or qualifications are desirable, with excellent progression opportunities in

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND.
• Ability to work as part of a classroom team.
• Willingness to support pupils across different aspects of their school day.

Responsibilities

• SEN Teaching Assistant supporting pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties.
• Working as part of a team under the direction of the Class Teacher.
• Supporting pupils with their learning and development across different areas of the school.
• Suitable for candidates with relevant experience and/or qualifications supporting children.
• The position includes swimming with pupils at least once a week.
