Job summary

Prospero Teaching is recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a range of schools. The role involves providing tailored support to pupils with diverse needs and assisting teachers in delivering engaging activities.

We seek patient, empathetic individuals with experience supporting children or young people, including those with SEN, SEMH, ASC, ADHD or behavioural challenges. DBS check or update service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Experience supporting individuals with SEN, SEMH, ASC, ADHD, or behavioural needs is desirable.
• Patient, empathetic, adaptable, and good at building relationships.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils one-to-one and in small groups.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging activities.
• Create a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment.
• Encourage social, emotional, and academic development.
• Collaborate with staff, SENCOs, and external professionals.
