Job summary

GlobalFoundries Fab 9 is seeking an experienced Engineer to join our Functional Electrical Test Characterization team. This internship role provides mentorship, hands-on projects, and exposure to wafer test, kerf test, and inline yield analyses in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

You will collaborate across multiple teams, develop data-driven yield improvements, and communicate with internal stakeholders to balance business objectives while supporting safe and efficient manufacturing

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical/Computer Engineering.
• Understanding of semiconductor technology and solid state device physics.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for global collaboration.
• Aggressive learner and reliable team player with analytical skills.
• On-time delivery of assigned work.

Responsibilities

• Monitor electrical performance tends and disposition of holds at electrical test.
• Support fab operational issues and yield analysis.
• Develop and improve yield characterization methods and data analysis.
• Collaborate across multiple teams and communicate with customers as needed.
