GlobalFoundries Fab 9, the world leader in semiconductor manufacturing in Essex Junction, VT, is seeking an entry level Electrical Test Engineer to join the Yield Engineering organization. The individual selected will contribute to development, support and continuous improvement of 200mm semiconductor electrical test.

The role requires technical inclination, hands-on troubleshooting, and collaboration across design, process and quality engineering to advance next generation technologies while

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s in Electrical/Computer/Physics or related field.
• Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and good academic standing.
• English language fluency (written & verbal).
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement methods for process control, testing and inspection to ensure products are flaw-free and function as designed.
• Perform product testing and analysis to maintain quality and minimize defects.
• Drive continuous improvement to improve throughput, reduce cost and support yield learning.
• Analyze electrical measurement data to identify root causes in data collection equipment.
• Programming to implement test protocols and handle electrical test data.
• Develop new test environments to support next generation technologies.
• Lead hands-on troubleshooting to resolve long-term performance issues.
• Collaborate with integration, equipment and quality engineering to support advanced technologies.
• Work on other projects as needed.
