GLOBALFOUNDRIES FAB 9 is seeking an Engineer to join our Functional Electrical Test Characterization team. This role requires an organized individual with strong communication skills and responsibilities to characterize signals from wafer test, kerf test and inline processes.

You will drive yield improvement projects, work across multiple teams inside and outside GF, and have direct or indirect customer communication. Internship candidates typically hold a B.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical/Computer Engineering required.
• Understanding of semiconductor technology and solid state physics.
• Ability to work effectively in a globally matrixed team.
• Fast learner and strong team player with analytical skills and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Monitor electrical performance trends and disposition holds at electrical test.
• Support process module engineering to improve cost, cycle-time, and robustness.
• Develop yield characterization methods and data analysis to identify yield limiters.
