Job summary

Intel Corporation in Hillsboro, Oregon, seeks a Quality and Reliability Engineer (QRE) to join the Foundry Quality, Reliability, and Labs team. This on-site role collaborates with fab/module engineers, process, and worldwide teams to prevent defects and improve reliability, with 24x7 on-call rotation for line issues.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Engineering or Science, at least six months of manufacturing experience, and proficiency with JMP or Minitab for data analysis.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, Science, or related discipline.
• At least 6 months of experience in manufacturing processes, semiconductor fabrication, and quality assessment.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer quality issues on products.
• Extract and analyze data to support risk assessment of suspect/non-conforming material.
• Support down-stream partners to manage excursions and investigations.
• Partner with other orgs to drive improvements in quality and reliability performance.
• Ensure end-of-line-hold metrics and MRB inventory targets are met.
• Identify and drive activities to improve detection and containment of discrepant material.
• Support certification and ramp of new technologies from on-site and off-site teams.
• Provide on-call engineering rotation support for line issues and task forces.
