Job summary

Wolfspeed is seeking an experienced Product Quality Engineer to drive customer satisfaction by aligning customer needs with continuous improvement in the silicon carbide Power fabs. You will partner with business quality and fab engineering teams to identify and drive corrective actions and quality improvements.

The role reports to the Director of Manufacturing Quality Engineering and can be based on site in Marcy, NY or Durham, NC, with responsibilities spanning event management, audits, RMA

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of semiconductor engineering and quality experience.
• Knowledge of quality systems and semiconductor wafer fabrication.
• Understanding of global automotive customer requirements and end-user behavior.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment at detailed and strategic levels.
• Demonstrated capability to interact with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Manage and drive timely closure of customer issues by collaborating with business teams, factories, and support teams.
• Lead and support quality management activities such as event management, audits, RMA responses, and corrective actions.
• Work with internal technical organizations to ensure high-quality products meet customer expectations.
• Drive quality improvements to meet customer expectations regarding PPM, corrective action reports, and cycle time.
• Develop strong relationships with business and fab engineering teams to coordinate cross-functional efforts.
