Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a process engineer to join our fab engineering team. You will help establish and maintain world-class processes and equipment, and drive yield enhancements with data-driven decisions.

You will monitor inline data, qualify new tools, coordinate qualifications, and implement changes to optimize process performance while communicating findings with the team and updating SOPs.

Qualificações

• Requires 2+ years experience in semiconductor process or related field.
• BS or MS in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, or Computer Science.
• Experience scripting in Python, VBA, or equivalent language.
• Understanding of statistical methods.
• Experience with Change Point Management and Lean, TPS, or 5S principles.
• Experience with Structure Problem Solving (8D, 7-step, etc.).
• Experience with Software Data Analysis software (Spotfire, JMP, Matlab).
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment or process failures.
• Must be able to wear clean room PPE and lift <35 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor wafer fabrication process and disposition production wafers.
• Qualify wafer fabrication processes on new tools.
• Coordinate scheduling of process qualifications and downtime.
• Use software to analyze data and identify trends for decisions.
• Make adjustments when process parameters are exceeded; monitor tools after maintenance.
• Execute in-line changes (CPM) to the process or equipment.
• Present technical information within the department.
• Revise SOPs and develop improved processes to increase capability.
