Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a Process Engineer in the Global Products Group to advance dielectric etch technologies in semiconductor equipment. You will develop new process formulations, define equipment requirements, analyze test data, and collaborate across teams to enable next‑generation device fabrication.

You’ll work on cutting‑edge materials science and surface engineering, with hybrid on-site and remote work options, contributing to yield improvements and cost reductions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Physics or related field; or equivalent experience.
• Graduate eligible role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct process engineering R&D and evaluation for Lam’s semiconductor equipment.
• Review and enhance processing techniques used in fabrication.
• Develop and sustain new processes and improvements to reduce costs and increase yields.
• Compile and analyze test data to set next steps and determine process limits.
• Collaborate to plan, collect data, analyze results, and report on customer demos.
