Job summary

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Physics or related field with no previous professional experience; or equivalent experience.
  • This is a graduate eligible role.
  • Familiarity with laboratory work and semiconductor equipment; surface analysis techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct process engineering research, development, and evaluation for Lam’s semiconductor equipment and systems.
  • Review and enhance processing techniques used in manufacture and fabrication.
  • Develop and sustain new processes to reduce costs and increase yields.
  • Analyze test data to define next steps and specify process limits and variables.
  • Collaborate to plan, collect data, and report on customer demos.
