Job summary

SemiConX seeks a Semiconductor Process Piping Technician to install, align, and repair process piping at a Boise, Idaho facility. You will interpret 2D drawings, select materials, and fabricate connections with TIG/MIG/stick welding.

Expect hydrostatic/pneumatic tests and documentation, plus collaboration with engineers and other trades. Responsibilities include installing supports, valves, and gaskets, ensuring ASME/ANSI/OSHA safety standards, and mentoring junior pipefitters in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Requires proficiency in interpreting 2D drawings and schematics.
• Experience with ASME/ANSI/OSHA safety standards is expected.
• Ability to conduct hydrostatic/pneumatic tests and document results.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and repair process piping to design specs and standards.
• Work with carbon steel, stainless steel, PVC, and specialty alloys.
• Perform welding (TIG, MIG, stick) as required for joints.
• Conduct hydrostatic and pneumatic tests to verify leak-free performance.
• Install valves, fittings, flanges and gaskets as needed.
• Install pipe supports, brackets and hangers for structural integrity.
• Follow safety procedures and mentor apprentices.
