Yoh is seeking an Advanced Semiconductor Mechanical Engineer III for an 18-month contract-to-hire opportunity in Gloucester, MA. The position offers $85 to $92 per hour, with a focus on solving complex mechanical problems and delivering robust layouts and drawings.

Responsibilities include performing analyses, leading projects, developing tooling and fixturing, and ensuring engineering documentation is thorough. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4–7 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
• Experience with CREO CAD, thermodynamics, sheet metal design, GD&T and flow analysis.
• Design for Excellence principles.

Responsibilities

• Identify and troubleshoot a variety of difficult mechanical problems with limited supervision.
• Define, coordinate, perform and document engineering test reports.
• Develop or modify mechanical layouts, schematics, or drawings/specifications.
• Perform engineering analysis with limited supervision.
• Lead or execute projects and develop suppliers; generate mechanical product specs.
• Design, develop and implement tooling, fixturing and processes; enable assembly and disassembly; set standards.
• Review and specify engineering documentation.
• Implement concepts for complex product issues and mechanical solutions.
• Communicate complex information clearly and build consensus.
