Job summary

Yoh is seeking a Semiconductor Manufacturing Technician for an 18-month contract-to-hire position in Gloucester, MA. You will build, repair and test electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies using schematics, wiring diagrams and instructions while maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

The ideal candidate will have solid interpersonal and analytical skills, plus the ability to adapt quickly to changing conditions and processes.

Qualifications

• Experience with electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repair.
• Broad understanding of tools and methods used in manufacturing mechanical parts.
• Ability to identify and correct errors and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies and components from schematics and written/verbal instructions.
• Observe safety standards and maintain a secure, clean and healthy work environment.
• Attend required health and safety training and report accidents or hazards promptly.
• Enter data on computer terminal and may perform programming, repairs or software installs.
• Troubleshoot and improve processes and ensure parts availability and quality.
