Veeco Instruments Inc. in San Jose is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Engineer to support the assembly, integration, testing, and shipment of complex semiconductor equipment.

The role offers hands-on experience in applying manufacturing processes, troubleshooting, and contributing to production efficiency and on-time delivery. You will work under experienced engineers, learn standard procedures, and help improve assembly methods while developing technical expertise in a fast-paced production

Competenze

• Foundational knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing engineering principles.
• Strong interest in learning complex system assembly, integration, testing, and troubleshooting in a hands-on production environment.
• Ability to follow established procedures and technical documentation with attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Mansioni

• Assist with the assembly, integration, testing, and preparation of complex systems and tools for customer shipment.
• Learn and execute system setup activities using established procedures and technical documentation.
• Support the assembly and disassembly of complex tools while maintaining quality and delivery objectives.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, safety, and reliability.
