Job summary
Veeco Instruments Inc. seeks a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to work in a fast-paced production environment on advanced semiconductor equipment.
You will partner with technicians, engineers, and operations teams to improve manufacturability, drive quality, resolve production issues, and continuously enhance factory performance. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field and 2+ years in manufacturing/production engineering or related roles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Manufacturing/Production Engineering or similar roles.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on engineering support for assembly, integration, testing, and production of advanced semiconductor equipment.
- Support production quality, reliability, schedule attainment, and operational performance.
- Troubleshoot build and test issues with manufacturing technicians and operations teams.
- Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions to improve quality and throughput.
- Collaborate with Design Engineering to address manufacturability challenges.
