Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in Chandler, AZ is seeking a maintenance technician to support wafer fab subassemblies and subfab equipment. You will perform PMs, clean and rebuild components, and follow strict 5S and safety practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of equipment maintenance and/or parts management preferred.
• 3-5 years wafer fab experience with production equipment preferred.
• Excel knowledge for data entry and tracking.

Responsibilities

• Rebuild and clean subassemblies for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) tasks.
• Follow and improve WSS documents.
• Complete Post Maintenance Qualifications and checks.
• Support subfab equipment.
• Handle chemicals to ensure consumables for rebuilding sub-assemblies.
• Maintain mechanical and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Create and follow written procedures with attention to detail.
• Understand electronic, mechanical, and vacuum systems.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Interact professionally in a fast-paced production environment.
• Apply 5S principles and maintain 5S organization in maintenance/parts management.
