Job summary

EMD Electronics is seeking a MEGASYS technician to help ensure the supply of gases and chemicals for semiconductor manufacturing. This full-time role involves on-site work, 24/7 operations, and occasional travel to customer sites nationwide.

You will operate gas and chemical handling equipment, support safety and quality systems, and perform routine maintenance and repairs with urgency and rigor. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED with 2+ years in a semiconductor or manufacturing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years in semiconductor/manufacturing.
• Associate degree in Chemistry or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Strong understanding of safe work practices and ability to read instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate and change-out gas/chemical/slurry containers safely.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Support quality and safety systems and follow site protocols.
• Serve as primary customer contact and communicate issues clearly.
