Job summary

EMD Electronics is seeking a MEGASYS® technician to ensure the supply of chemicals and gases for semiconductor manufacturing. The role involves on-site, full-time work with 24/7 operations and potential nationwide travel.

You will work with gas and chemical blending equipment, participate in safety procedures, and support maintenance and emergency preparedness protocols. Opportunities include relocation options for the right candidates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years in semiconductor, chemical, or manufacturing setting.
• Preferred: Associate Degree in Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, or technical discipline.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to read flow transmitters and other measuring devices; understand units and use precision tools.
• Know-how in safe work practices and lockout/tagout projects.
• Willingness to travel and adapt to dynamic operations.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of assigned chemical and/or gas distribution systems.
• Handling and change-out of gas, chemical, and slurry containers.
• Troubleshooting of equipment and performing preventative and repair maintenance.
• Operate computers to support job functions and customer needs.
• Support quality systems and adhere to site protocols with safety in mind.
• Primary customer contact and ensuring clear communication.
