Insight Global is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to support diffusion and thermal processing equipment in a semiconductor cleanroom environment in Hillsboro, OR. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot alarms, and ensure tools are recovered and returned to production.

• 3–5 years of experience troubleshooting semiconductor equipment.
• Hands-on experience with diffusion or thermal processing equipment.
• Experience with equipment from ASM, TEL/Tokyo Electron, Applied Materials, Kokusai, or similar semiconductor tool manufacturers.
• Preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance experience.
• Strong equipment troubleshooting and alarm response skills.
• Experience working in a semiconductor cleanroom.
• Knowledge of wafer handling and equipment safety procedures.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on diffusion equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and respond to tool alarms.
• Complete tool start-ups, shutdowns, inspections, leak checks, and calibrations.
• Replace and clean equipment components as needed
• Recover equipment after maintenance and return tools to production.
• Handle wafers and materials following cleanroom procedures.
• Complete work orders, maintenance documentation, and shift handoff reports.
• Follow all required PPE, lockout/tagout, chemical, and electrical safety procedures.
• Escalate equipment, safety, or quality concerns when necessary.

Our client is looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to support semiconductor manufacturing equipment in a cleanroom environment. This person will primarily work on diffusion and thermal processing equipment, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, equipment recovery, and tool qualification to keep production equipment running properly.

Must-Have Experience

• 3–5 years supporting semiconductor manufacturing equipment
• Hands-on experience with diffusion or thermal processing equipment
• Experience with equipment from ASM, TEL/Tokyo Electron, Applied Materials, Kokusai, or similar semiconductor tool manufacturers
• Preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance experience
• Strong equipment troubleshooting and alarm response skills
