Job summary

Ebara Technologies - USA is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair advanced semiconductor equipment at customer sites. This hands-on role suits experienced field service professionals and skilled technicians transitioning from HVAC, automotive, industrial maintenance, or related electromechanical fields.

The role is full-time, typically Monday through Friday with a day shift.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of service experience, preferably in the semiconductor or related industry.
• Working knowledge of mechanical skills and semiconductor/vacuum tech concepts.
• Proficient with computer systems and Microsoft Office; able to interpret manuals.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair semiconductor equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance, installations, and start-ups as required.
• Prepare reports on downtime, issues, and service activity for product movement and justification.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers; escalate design issues to engineering.
