Job summary

Actus Consulting Group in Taylor, TX is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide on-site service for semiconductor capital equipment. You will troubleshoot complex products, perform preventative maintenance, and support customers at their sites in the Austin area.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree or equivalent with relevant field service background.
• Experience with semiconductor capital equipment is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical systems.
• Willingness to travel domestically/internationally for training and support.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on-call as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service activities at customer sites, diagnosing issues and providing solutions.
• Respond to service calls via phone or on-site visits to install, maintain, and sustain equipment.
• Provide training to customers on usage and maintenance of Company products.
• Collaborate with Japan headquarters engineers on product applications and issues.
• Maintain spare parts and tools, and submit timely service and expense reports.
• Support sales activities and build strong customer relationships.
