Job summary

MSR-FSR is seeking a Field Service Engineer III to support semiconductor tooling in our Austin-area operations. You will install, maintain, demo, and upgrade equipment, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and document work with accuracy to ensure uptime for our clients.

Travel is a key aspect of this role, with frequent company-paid trips to customer sites. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in semiconductors, strong troubleshooting and schematic reading skills, and proficiency with

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical training and field experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem–solving skills.
• Experience with CMP equipment brands listed in the job posting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, demo, and upgrade equipment as needed.
• Perform scheduled preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Read and translate mechanical and electrical schematics related to the tool.
• Complete necessary job documentation and safety training.
• Provide clear communication to co-workers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Assist junior field personnel on safety and troubleshooting procedures.
