Job summary

MACOM in Newport Beach, CA is seeking a Failure Analysis Engineering Intern to support the quality engineering team with failure investigations, corrective actions, and documentation of analysis data. You will collaborate with design and test engineers across the business unit.

During 12 weeks you will perform DC electrical testing, circuit analysis, fault isolation and micro-probing, receive hands-on training, attend an intern webinar series, poster session and networking events, and present

Qualifications

Understanding of semiconductor fabrication, inspection, assembly, and test methods.
Knowledge of semiconductor processing and analysis equipment is a plus.
Excellent analytical skills and good written and verbal communications skills are essential.
Self-motivated, hard-working, fast learner and well-organized.
Highly responsible, a good team player with good presentation skills.
Proficiency with MS Office applications.
