Job summary

MACOM in Lowell is seeking a Reliability Engineering Intern to support qualification tests and reliability experiments on semiconductor circuits. You will identify samples, build test fixtures, and perform DC and RF measurements as part of environmental testing.

You'll gain hands-on experience with data analysis, report results, and present at poster sessions while receiving supervision and feedback during the 12-week internship.

Qualifications

• Completion of at least two years of a traditional four-year degree program in a technical discipline.
• Basic understanding of electrical measurements and semiconductor devices.
• Fundamental programming skills and familiarity with data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prepare samples for reliability tests.
• Develop test fixtures and/or circuit boards for environmental tests; may include soldering.
• Make DC and RF electrical measurements.
• Execute qualification and reliability tests.
• Perform statistical analysis of measurement results.
• Support failure analysis and report results with recommendations.
