Job summary

Texas Instruments Incorporated is seeking a skilled Facilities System Technician to maintain and optimize critical facility systems for semiconductor manufacturing operations. The role involves maintenance, troubleshooting, documentation, and coordination with engineers to ensure reliable system performance.

You will learn SCADA interdependencies, interpret mechanical/electrical drawings, and manage work orders while ensuring compliance with TI ESHS and permits.

Qualifications

• Experience with facility systems operations and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical and controls drawings.
• Proficient in documenting maintenance activities and updating SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Understand and learn SCADA and facility interdependencies (HVAC, exhaust, chilled/hot water, DI water, plant vacuum).
• Read and interpret mechanical, electrical and controls drawings.
• Drive completion of maintenance in a safe, timely manner.
• Review and close work orders; record information in the Facilities Maintenance System (FMS).
• Respond to system alarms and troubleshoot components under guidance.
• Assist in updating SOPs and system documentation.
• Ensure all work complies with TI ESHS, permits, and codes.
• Obtain quotes and enter purchase requisitions for system work.
• Support daily operations meetings and coordinate with the operations team.
