Job summary

Texas Instruments in Dallas is seeking a highly experienced Facilities Controls Technician to uphold reliability of critical utility and building systems, including PLC, HMI and SCADA. This role focuses on installation, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance to ensure continuous, safe and high-yield semiconductor manufacturing.

You will develop SOPs, support 24‑hour operations, mentor junior technicians, coordinate with operations and engineering, and lead improvements in controls projects

Qualifications

Experience with facility control systems including PLC, HMI and SCADA.
Strong ability to develop and follow SOPs and change control processes.
Proven track record of supporting 24/7 operations in a manufacturing/semiconductor environment.

Responsibilities

Respond quickly to critical situations and troubleshoot system components.
Identify failure causes and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Review and improve maintenance procedures and SOPs.
Provide technical support for the 24-hour operations team.
Troubleshoot and maintain PLC/HMI/SCADA for chillers, pumps, and AHUs.
Perform PM/CM on panels, relays, motors, and VFDs.
Coordinate with operations/engineering and maintain as-built docs and spares.
