Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking an Equipment Technician to join our team in Dallas. You will perform preventative maintenance, repairs, improvements, upgrades and installation on semiconductor equipment, interfacing with engineering and manufacturing across the fab to resolve issues efficiently.

Responsibilities include improving system performance to meet process requirements, monitoring data, coordinating supplier service, and preparing technical reports with findings and recommended solutions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2 years semiconductor technician experience OR 8 years non-semiconductor/military technician experience.
• Ability to work 12-hour compressed work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Improve system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive downs
• Monitor and analyze all related data to improve and maintain tool performance and address all tool related issues
• Coordinate supplier service and repairs where needed
• Prepare the technical report and summary findings and recommending solutions to technical problems
