TSMC Arizona seeks a Gas and Chemical System Design Engineer to design cutting‑edge gas, chemical, and slurry supply systems for our Phoenix fab. You will analyze drawings, validate performance, and ensure compliance with codes while coordinating BIM models and cross‑functional teams.

The role emphasizes ownership, reliability, and continuous improvement in a 24/7 facility environment, with strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Hands-on experience in a plant or facilities environment.
• Ability to read P&IDs and PFDs; understanding gas/chemical supply systems.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Design gas, chemical, and slurry supply systems for fab needs.
• Analyze equipment specs, drawings, P&IDs, PFDs, and BOMs for compliance.
• Ensure designs meet applicable codes and regulations.
• Coordinate 3D BIM models to optimize constructability and space.
• Collaborate with contractors, vendors, AHJs, and internal teams.
• Lead continuous improvement in system design and project execution.
