Wolfspeed in Marcy, NY is seeking an Equipment Technician to perform corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance on semiconductor tools to improve availability and reliability. You will work a 12‑hour shift as part of a 24/7 operation in Marcy, NY.

Qualifications

• AAS in Electronics Technology or military electronics equivalent is required.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, schematics and maintenance manuals.
• At least 3 years of equipment maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform electro‑mechanical root cause troubleshooting of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment according to manuals and schematics.
• Use tests and diagnostic equipment to complete equipment checks.
• Work with process engineers to understand process‑equipment interactions and limitations.
• Modify equipment to improve uptime or overall process performance.
