Job summary

Yoh in Austin, TX is seeking an Engineering Technician for an onsite role. The position offers an 18-month contract with a potential hire, paying $25 to $26.50 per hour. Additional 10% swing shift and 18% weekend differentials apply, plus a $1,500 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include testing and maintaining Ion Implanters and RF Plasma Systems, troubleshooting malfunctions, and supporting R&D and production teams. Qualifications require 2–4 years of experience and related electronics training.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in electronics, robotics, or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in reading schematics and technical manuals.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Adherence to safety protocols and flexibility with shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and maintenance on Ion Implanters and RF Plasma Systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions.
• Support engineers and scientists in R&D and production environments.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and document activities.
• Assist in setup and qualification of new semiconductor equipment.
