Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann Company, is seeking an Engineering Technician for Austin, TX. The position is onsite for an 18-month contract with hourly pay rates of $23–$26.

The role involves testing and maintaining Ion Implanters and RF Plasma Systems, troubleshooting malfunctions, and supporting engineers in R&D and production environments, along with preventive maintenance and documentation. Flexibility with shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in electronics, robotics, or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in reading schematics and technical manuals.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Adherence to safety protocols and flexibility with shifts.

Responsabilités

• Perform testing and maintenance on Ion Implanters and RF Plasma Systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions
• Support engineers and scientists in R&D and production environments
• Conduct preventive maintenance and document activities
• Assist in setup and qualification of new semiconductor equipment
