Job summary

KLA is seeking a Technical Instructor (BBP) in Phoenix, AZ to develop and deliver training on service, maintenance, installation, repair and troubleshooting for semiconductor tools.

You will work with senior instructors, product engineers, manufacturing engineers and PSO members, developing training plans, materials and certification strategies while staying current with product changes.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in optical, mechanical, electrical or electronic engineering.
• 3+ years of in-depth technical experience on semiconductor inspection or metrology equipment (BBP preferred).
• Proven track record of supporting install, service, tool building, manufacturing or technical support on semiconductor systems.
• Experience conducting or supporting technical training, formally or informally, or mentoring junior engineers a plus.
• Ability to communicate with international audiences in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical training on service, maintenance, installation, repair, and troubleshooting.
• Deliver high-quality service training to field service engineers, technical support engineers, install engineers and external customers.
• Participate in tool building, manufacturing, field support, upgrades, installs, and other activities to master product know-how.
• Lead review meetings with subject matter experts to define milestones, deliverables, and training plans.
• Lead training projects; provide updates; assess risks, resources, and actions; maintain documentation.
