Job summary

SkyWater Technology Foundry, Inc. is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician for our Minnesota facility to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electro/mechanical systems, and install semiconductor fabrication equipment.

The role operates on C Shift (Thu-Sat, plus every other Wed 6:00 AM–6:00 PM) and requires an Associate’s degree or equivalent experience, strong English, and ability to work with chemicals and 50 lb loads.

Qualifications

• Education: 2 Year Technical/Associates Degree in Science, Math, Engineering, Semiconductor Manufacturing or related discipline or equivalent military training/work experience.
• Experience: electro/mechanical/fluidic troubleshooting, repair, PM, and equipment modification; ability to follow detailed procedures; strong attention to detail and timeliness.
• Ability to manage projects and work cross-functionally; use hand tools, meters, scopes; English fluency (written & verbal).

Responsibilities

• Dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble equipment per layout plans and manuals.
• Use test/diagnostic equipment to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Perform preventive and unscheduled maintenance on production equipment.
• Complete documentation for quality standards; rebuild equipment/sub-assemblies as needed.
• Work with engineers on equipment modifications; participate in 5S+/CIP teams; lead small projects.
