Job summary

SkyWater Technology Foundry, Inc. seeks an Equipment Maintenance Technician 1 for the D Shift in Bloomington, MN. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of semiconductor fabrication equipment.

Expect 12-hour shifts (Thu–Sat, plus every other Wed) with 25% night differential. The candidate should have a 2-year technical/associates degree or equivalent military/work experience and hands-on electro/mechanical discipline experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in electro/mechanical/ fluidic troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and document work.
• Project initiation and execution in cross-functional settings.
• Proficiency with standard tooling and measurement devices.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble equipment per plans and manuals.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Perform preventive and unscheduled maintenance on production equipment.
• Maintain required documentation for quality standards.
• Rebuild equipment and subsystems as required.
• Collaborate with engineers on modifications and on cross-functional teams.
