Job summary
GlobalFoundries in Malta Fab 8 is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for monitoring, sustaining, and improving equipment and processes in the assigned area. You will work with production teams and area engineers, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and communicate updates to the Lead Tech and Engineer.
The role requires English fluency, high school or technical degree, and hands-on electrical or mechanical experience.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Degree (or equivalent).
- Experience: Electrical or mechanical, one of the following: 2-year technical degree; 2 years of relevant military experience; 4 years of relevant experience (auto repair, HVAC, etc).
Responsibilities
- Monitor equipment performance and schedule maintenance.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment and resolve issues.
- Communicate status updates to Lead Tech/Engineer.
- Operate in cleanroom environment following protocol.
- Assist in training activities.
