Job summary

Headway Technologies, Inc. in Milpitas, CA is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to maintain and troubleshoot semiconductor tools on a rotating C shift (Fri-Sun and every other Thu 6:00 AM–6:00 PM).

Under supervision, you will perform routine and preventative maintenance, read schematics, collaborate with engineering, and support continuous improvement to minimize downtime and improve tool reliability.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in electronics, industrial manufacturing, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience performing equipment maintenance in semiconductor or high-volume manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience using various tools/sets and tool repair guides.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and preventative maintenance on multiple tools; ensures tools operate within specification.
• Troubleshoots and resolves tool issues quickly to minimize downtime.
• Collaborates with engineering or other groups to improve tool reliability and yield.
• Prepares data/documentation for daily/weekly pass-down meetings.
• Reads and interprets schematics, mechanical drawings, manuals, and OEM guides.
