Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Field Service Engineer / Semiconductor Equipment Technician to provide on-site support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment. This role offers hands-on training and growth within a high-tech environment.

Ideal candidates have backgrounds in Mechatronics, Semiconductor Technology, Electronics, Industrial Maintenance, or related fields and possess strong problem-solving and customer-service skills for field service

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent hands-on experience in a related technical field.
Strong mechanical, electrical, or electromechanical troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and follow technical documentation and schematics.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, and repair semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
Install, upgrade, modify, and replace components on equipment.
Respond to service calls to minimize downtime.
Maintain service records and technical reports.
Collaborate with customers and internal teams to improve reliability.
Train customer personnel on operation and preventive maintenance.
Participate in ongoing training to stay current with new tech.
Ensure proper care of tools, vehicles, and PPE.
