Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Field Service Technician to work at customer sites, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading complex equipment in environmental and industrial systems. You will be deployed at large-scale production facilities and collaborate with a diverse team to ensure uptime and safety.

The role requires 2+ years in semiconductor maintenance, a HS diploma or technical schooling, and the ability to wear a respirator.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience operating and performing repairs and preventative maintenance in a semiconductor manufacturing or similar industry.
• HS Diploma or Technical School (Associates Preferred).
• Ability to wear a respirator.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventative maintenance inspections and perform corrective maintenance and major repairs on equipment.
• Perform periodic system maintenance per customer schedules and requirements.
• Assist with technically complex troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Complete assignments within defined parameters referencing work instructions, procedures, and technical documentation.
• Install equipment upgrades following approved documentation and work instructions.
• Assist with training new employees on preventative maintenance tasks.
• Apply judgment in resolving non-standard or unexpected equipment issues; typically receives general instructions for work.
• Meet company and customer reporting requirements, ensuring accurate and timely service documentation.
• Adhere to all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
