Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in Chandler, AZ is seeking an Experienced ECHO Equipment Engineer to maintain and enhance wafer fabrication equipment across Photo, Etch, Cleans, Metrology or Films. You will drive tool performance, data-driven improvements, and 24x7 operations in a high-tech fab.

The role requires a BS in a technical field and at least 2 years of semiconductor equipment experience, plus strong communication and training skills. Export controls clearance is required.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in a technical field (Chemistry, Chemical Eng, Electrical Eng, Materials Science, Physics).
• At least 2 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to analyze data and produce action plans for recurring failures.
• Strong presentation and training abilities.
• Able to work in a 24x7 manufacturing facility with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, upgrade, and monitor wafer fabrication equipment across processes.
• Identify and reduce process and tool variation for performance gains.
• Improve tool reliability, throughput, and cost performance.
• Develop and implement Six-Sigma SPC methods and action plans.
• Train technicians and present complex data to diverse audiences.
