Job summary

NXP Semiconductors in Chandler, AZ is seeking a maintenance technician responsible for tool recoveries, cleaning and rebuilding chambers and subcomponents, and supporting the CHD FAB Etch maintenance team.

The role covers troubleshooting electrical, electronic, pneumatic, vacuum, and mechanical systems, scheduled PMs, consumable changes, documentation, and potential training of others. The position requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and night shift availability.

Qualifications

• AA/AS in electronics or related discipline preferred; education with experience may satisfy requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Solid understanding of 5S and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform tool recoveries, cleaning and rebuilding of chambers and subcomponents for PM.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, pneumatic, vacuum, and mechanical systems.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance and consumable changes.
• Complete documentation and potentially train others on tasks.
• Work in compressed night shifts and ensure quality and efficiency.
