Job summary

ZEISS seeks a Digital Analytics Solution Specialist to help customers address semiconductor manufacturing challenges with data-driven analytics. You will develop algorithms using traditional image processing and modern machine learning methods, collaborating with customers, scientists and engineers to translate needs into prototypes and validated solutions.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s or PhD in CS or related field, with 1–2 years of ML for image processing and experience with image

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in computer science or a related field.
• 1–2 years designing and implementing machine learning algorithms for image processing.
• Expertise in designing, analyzing, implementing and testing image processing algorithms.
• Ability to understand, maintain, and optimize existing code.
• Strong understanding of image processing and ML libraries.
• Background in semiconductor manufacturing preferred.
• Experience working with customers in interactive requirements-gathering environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop solution algorithms for semiconductor fabrication applications using classical image processing and ML.
• Build understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes, customer challenges, and market needs.
• Define requirements from customer analytics needs and translate into prototypes; develop, implement, test, and optimize solutions.
• Assess prototype capabilities and communicate findings to customers.
• Work at customer and partner sites globally to gain insights into industry needs.
• Apply technical expertise to deliver solutions with meaningful customer impact.
• Identify improvement areas and new market opportunities at customer sites.
• Develop customer-specific solutions through direct engagement at ZEISS customer sites.
• Travel up to 50% within the United States and occasionally internationally.
