Job summary

ZEISS Group in the United States seeks a Digital Analytics Solution Specialist to advance data-driven tools for semiconductor manufacturing. You will develop algorithms using image processing and ML, work with customers across sites, and travel up to 50% within the US to gather requirements and validate solutions.

You’ll partner with scientists and engineers to translate analytics needs into prototypes, test and optimize, and communicate findings clearly.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in computer science or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience designing and implementing ML algorithms for image processing.
• Experience with neural networks for detection, classification, segmentation, and SVM.
• Experience with image processing algorithms: filters, noise and distortion correction, registration and alignment, contour extraction.
• Ability to understand, maintain, and optimize existing code.
• Background in semiconductor manufacturing preferred.
• Experience working directly with customers in an interactive requirements-gathering environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop solution algorithms for semiconductor fabrication applications using image processing and ML.
• Build understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and customer needs.
• Define requirements from analytics needs and translate into prototypes; develop, test, and optimize solutions.
• Assess prototype capabilities and clearly communicate findings to customers.
• Work at customer and partner sites globally to gain insight into semiconductor industry needs.
• Apply technical expertise to deliver solutions that create meaningful impact for customers and the broader industry.
• Identify improvement areas and new market opportunities through firsthand exposure to FIB-SEM applications.
• Develop customer-specific solutions through direct engagement at ZEISS customer sites.
