Job summary

ZEISS is seeking a Digital Analytics Solution Specialist in the Semiconductor Fab Solutions group. You will craft ML-driven analytics for semiconductor fabrication, work with customers to translate needs into prototypes, and deploy solutions across sites worldwide.

The role requires advanced degrees, 1–2 years of ML experience in image processing, and strong communication with customers to deliver measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in computer science or related field.
• 1-2 years designing and implementing ML algorithms for image processing.
• Expertise in designing, analyzing, implementing, and testing image processing algorithms.
• Ability to understand, maintain, and optimize existing code.
• Strong understanding of leading image processing and ML libraries.
• Background in semiconductor manufacturing preferred.
• Experience working directly with customers in requirements-gathering.

Responsibilities

• Develop solution algorithms for semiconductor fabrication using image processing and ML.
• Build an understanding of manufacturing processes, customer challenges, and market needs.
• Define requirements from analytics needs and translate into prototypes; develop, implement, test, and optimize solutions.
• Assess prototype capabilities and clearly communicate findings to customers.
• Work at customer and partner sites globally to gain firsthand experience and deeper insight.
• Apply technical expertise and innovative thinking to deliver solutions with meaningful impact.
• Identify improvement areas and new market opportunities through exposure to FIB-SEM applications.
