Job summary

Tower Semiconductor is seeking an Equipment Engineering Technician for the Diffusion/EPI area in San Antonio, TX. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diffusion area tools, monitor tool health, and help improve availability while controlling costs.

The role requires a AS degree in electronics or mechanical, 5+ years in semiconductor manufacturing, and strong communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office and OS platforms.

Qualifications

• AS degree in electronics or mechanical.
• 5+ years experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Diffusion Area tools (ASM furnace or AMAT EPI systems).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and various OS platforms.
• Understanding of consumable vs non-consumable parts costs and cost reduction.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on Diffusion Area tool sets.
• Monitor equipment health and troubleshoot complex issues to resolution.
• Update procedures and PM specifications to improve tool availability and training.
• Order consumables and non-consumables for tools as needed.
