Job summary

The LEGO Group in the United States is seeking a Semiautomatic Specialist Operator to support the Final Pack line, focusing on changeovers, quality inspections, and safe, efficient operation of box former/closer and case packer equipment.

You will work in a safety-conscious team, perform maintenance and minor repairs, lift up to 50 lbs, stand up to 12 hours, and participate in a 2-2-3 shift pattern with overtime as needed. Hybrid work options available.

Qualifications

• Technical education in mechanics.
• 1–2 years’ experience as a machine operator on high-speed lines.
• Able to read a tape measure; basic fractions/decimals.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Easy HMI and faults/alarms.
• Maintenance and preventive maintenance experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand up to 12 hours.
• Syntegon box former/closer/case packer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and quality leadership on the line.
• Comply with safety standards and legal requirements.
• Keep machines and area clean and ready.
• Operate, change over and adjust production lines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
• Follow quality standards for end products.
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering.
• Aim for standard hourly production targets.
• Support autonomous maintenance and 5S activities.
• Suggest improvements for safety, quality and operations.
• Maintain good communication with team and LEGO values.
• Be available for 2-2-3 shift pattern and overtime.
