Job summary

The LEGO Group in the United States is seeking a Semiautomatic Specialist Operator to support the production line, including box former/closer and case packer tasks. You will ensure safety, quality and timely packaging of LEGO sets, with attention to changeovers and line adjustments.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, troubleshooting faults, performing maintenance tasks, and collaborating with teammates to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• Technical education in mechanics.
• 1–2 years of experience as a machine operator on high-speed production lines.
• Good communication skills and ability to read a tape measure.
• Strong math, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with maintenance, fault diagnosis and preventative care.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and demonstrate leadership on Safety and Quality.
• Comply with safety requirements and applicable standards.
• Keep machines and work area clean and in good condition before, during, and after shift.
• Operate, change over, and fine-tune production equipment.
• Operate Semiautomatic Line (Box Former/Closer or Case Packer) per SOP.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Follow Quality standards to ensure high-quality output.
• Contribute to line flow and coordinate with maintenance and other support areas.
• Achieve standard hourly production targets.
• Support autonomous maintenance, 5S, quality checks, and line release audits.
• Propose improvements in safety, quality and operations.
• Collaborate with peers following LEGO values.
• Maintain regular attendance and work the 2-2-3 pattern with overtime as needed.
