Job summary
Great Western Trailer in Utah seeks dedicated technicians to inspect and repair semi-trailers, including brakes, wiring, bodywork, lift gates, and more. Reliable, detail-oriented individuals who work well in teams are encouraged to apply.
You will install add-on components such as toolboxes, winches, and ramp kits, perform fabrication and welding as needed, and complete service reports to meet safety and quality standards. This is a full-time role with potential overtime; benefits are provided.
Qualifications
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Own a personal set of hand tools (except in California).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with semi-trailer equipment and maintenance.
- Operate hand tools, power tools and pneumatic tools safely and efficiently.
- Willingness to work overtime when needed.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and repair semi-trailers, including brakes, wiring, bodywork, lift gates, and more.
- Install and replace add-on components such as toolboxes, winches, and ramp kits.
- Perform fabrication and welding as needed.
- Complete service reports and ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
