Great Western Trailer GWT is actively hiring skilled Trailer Technicians to join our Salt Lake City facility. If you have experience in semi-trailer maintenance and repair and are looking for a company that values your skills and dedication.

This role features a Monday–Friday schedule with weekday hours, weekly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision and life insurance, 401K, and HSA options. Growth opportunities and a fokus on safety are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Own a personal set of hand tools except in California.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with semi trailer equipment.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools and pneumatic tools safely and efficiently.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair semi trailers including brakes, wiring, bodywork, lift gates and more.
• Install and replace add-on components such as toolboxes, winches and ramp kits.
• Perform fabrication and welding as needed.
• Complete service reports and ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
